European Parliament supports D-Parliament transparent platform and E-transition of Mongolian Parliament

On October 30, G.Zandanshatar, the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament, received representatives led by Tomáš Zdechovský, the Chair of the European Parliament’s Delegation for cooperation with Central Asia and Mongolia.

G.Zandanshatar expressed his gratitude on meeting with the distinguished guests who arrived to participate in the 16th EU-Mongolia Inter-Parliamentary Meeting, and emphasized that strengthening cooperation with the European Union is one of the main goals of our country's foreign policy, and that it is united by the values of democracy, human rights and the free market economy, and it is considered Mongolia's third neighbor.

And the Speaker gave information on the d.parliament.mn electronic platform that was successfully introduced as part of the goal of ensuring citizens' participation in legislative activities and opening opportunities for the public.

Tomáš Zdechovský, the Chair of the European Parliament’s Delegation for cooperation with Central Asia and Mongolia, expressed his gratitude for taking the time to meet with the Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament and said that the members of the European Parliament know that the Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament is a leader in the implementation of legal regulations and anti-corruption.

He said that the European Parliament supports the e-transition of d.parliament.mn, which is a good example of transparency and openness implemented by the Parliament of Mongolia, and expressed that he will focus on bringing future cooperation to a new level.
